Say hello to our newest collection of scents, inspired by the little joys and big perks of life in the world’s happiest country. With woody, earthy, creamy, and spicy notes, this lineup is a comforting homage to everything that makes Finland feel like home.
We’re Val & Ayla, The Hours co-founders.
But before we started building a meaningful business, we built an incredible friendship.
We met by sharing an evening of laughs outside of a bar in a small French town during a year abroad – a “when you know, you know” moment, but for friends of the best kind. Dozens of long dinners, train tickets (a few inconveniently canceled ones), game nights, road trips, and thousands of jokes later, we had to part ways for different corners of the world. Committed to staying connected, we took the plunge and started a business together, and we’re so glad you found us on this journey of ours.
Many of our scents are inspired by the core memories the two of us have made – but we’re creating a brand that stands for universal truths, like living slowly and intentionally, cherishing the little moments and keeping your heart open to new adventures.
