For us, slowing down is an art, and home is more than a place. We believe in laugh lines, and hand-written cards, and calling our friends (but texting them about it first). What started with a desire to create intentional lives for ourselves turned into a mission to help others do the same - one flickering flame at a time.

OUR MATERIALS
We use 100% natural soy wax derived from soybeans instead of crude oil (used for paraffin wax). Although more expensive, it comes with a whole host of benefits. It’s biodegradable and water-soluble, produces less sooting, and provides a chemical-free burn.
Soy wax is a natural material therefore each candle will burn a little differently based on the specific qualities of the batch of wax it came from.

Our fragrances are blend of natural oils and aroma chemicals that are free of parabens, phthalates, DPG, glycols, petrochemicals, and synthetic colors
We seek a balance between performance and quality, which is why we didn’t opt for 100% essential oils as they tend to be more unpredictable under different temperatures

Fragrance
Wicks
We’re going to be honest here - wooden wicks are more finicky than cotton wicks, but we just couldn’t resist the crackle and the unmistakable atmosphere they create. All of our candles feature cherry tree wicks.
As a natural material, wood also features characteristics unique to each branch, which can result in a more unpredictable burn. We rigorously test our wicks to ensure the most consistent burn possible, but please allow for some variation in the flame.
To keep wooden wicks performing at their best:
Trim wick to about 5 mm before each burn
If the wick starts to soot, blow it out, trim off the top, and light again
once cool
Clean residue and particulates from wick regularly
Our jars come in four colors - amber, matte black, matte white and frosted - to suit a variety of preferences and interiors. As an EU-based business, we took great care to find a vessel supplier as close to home as possible. Our jars are made in Italy, and sourcing them in Europe reduces our shipping carbon footprint and helps us support a more local economy.
